Blozende Oortjes is a candid six-part documentary series in which twenty colourful, funny and open-hearted teenagers speak openly about love, sexuality, relationships and the raw, unfiltered experience of growing up. From first kisses and dating to sexting and consent.
For this series, I collaborated closely with director Sophie Dros. Together we shaped a typographic language that visually amplifies the teenagers’ voices, highlighting the insightful, vulnerable and often surprising things they shared. The typography responds directly to their words, adding rhythm, emphasis and space for reflection, without overpowering the intimacy of the conversations.
