Garden of Seasons is a mural commissioned by Gemeente Arnhem, created in collaboration with Benjamin McMillan. Spanning four walls and a total surface of 160 m², the work unfolds as a sequence of seasonal landscapes.

Through neighbourhood participation and workshops, one wish consistently emerged: a desire for more green in the area. We translated this collective longing into four gardens, each representing a different season. For every garden, a poem was written by Jonathan Blaschke and Bruno Jacoby

Spring:
young willow fluff
stretches and yawns
the sweet sound
can not stop smiling

The typography used in the mural was developed directly from the workshops with residents, allowing them to recognise their own contribution in the final design. You can find the results back on Full Auto Foundry.
